Attention loyal followers!
It has been over a month since my last posting - my apologies - life has gotten in the way of my blogging activities. In the last month, we've had a few outings that have ended up with some fun shots, some fun stories and some good memories. I will do my best to capture a few of them as my mid-50's memory fades super fast these days!
Good by to the Mechanic.....
Mr. Rude is now in the land of Fruits and Nuts but before he left, he and the Captain went out for one more tour of the course. During the round, the Captain claims to have offered up a ceremonial toss of a club to keep the RAM in the Great State. Here is a photo of the passing of the RAM:
Through the generosity of Rusty, the travelling circus got to play at Great Southwestern where Kent's buddy Brian hit one of the most outstanding trick shots we've seen in some time. After a booming, slightly fading (some eye witnesses swear it was more like a dead ass slice!) and after an exhaustive search, the ball was located in a tough spot. After careful consideration, Brian decided to lift and place the ball and take the penalty. The tree appreciated him taking relief.
I want to show a a couple of group photos from the past few weeks - some fun outings. I was especially happy to get to play with my son Pat. He played great and he helped his old man win a few shillings. This was despite being brought to his knees one more time on #18 at Riverside - the Devil Hole.
In case you can't pick Pat out, he's the tall guy on the left.....
We also had a great time out in Las Vegas.
Here is a shot from Tuscany
Here are a couple of shots from Rio Secco.
Needless to say, the temperature was a little different from Friday to Sunday. We froze out butts off on Sunday but had a great time! The next time you see Young Ben George, please ask him to give you a blow by blow accounting of his Hangover night in Vegas! It's priceless.Okay - I want to end with a couple of videos. Some cool stuff - the star of both videos is Rusty (we need to get this dude a knick name- Capt - get to work on it!).
Here is Rusty hitting a trick shot out of a bunker for a par (or maybe it was a birdie!)
Here is rusty BOOMING a drive at Rio Secco
Okay - I have to end with a couple of funny thoughts.....first, Rio Secco kicked our butts and depleted our fuel tanks - so, there was only one thing left to do....go eat something filling. And, the Otter almost got it right.....here is is at the Heart Attack Grill chowing down on a Triple Bypass Burger....I'm pissed that I missed out on the fun.....
You'll have to ask Jeffie if he finished the whole sandwich.....
With a little luck and the grace of God, I'll be able to do a better job keeping up with this over the next few months.....
